TOKYO MARATHON 2024:
Benson Kipruto stole the show from two-time defending Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge in the men’s race at the Tokyo Marathon 2024 to win in a course record of 2 hours, 2 minutes, 16 seconds on Sunday (3 March). Kipchoge – who was the previous record-holder in the event of 2:02:40 – finished 10th in 2:06:50.
PARIS 2024 ATHLETICS:
Sifan Hassan has raced to victory in a new Olympic record in the Paris 2024 women’s marathon on Sunday 11 August. The Dutch athlete braved the undulating course that wound through some of the most iconic sights in Paris, finishing the race in 2:22:55. “I feel like I am dreaming,” she said after the race.
BOSTON MARATHON 2024:
